A family story
I was born and bred in the Bordeaux region, just minutes from the magnificent vineyards of Saint Emilion; I am as much a product of the area’s unique terroir as the local wines.
My grandfather spent his entire life in the wine and food business, my brother manages a chateau, and my cousin is a wine merchant; wine was always crucial to my life. After living in the U.S. and Central America for over a decade and working in the gourmet food business for companies such as Les Trois Petits Cochons (The Three Little Pigs), I was thrilled to return to my roots and the beauty and grace of Bordeaux. Since I returned in 2012, I have been trying to share my love of wine and create the best Bordeaux wine tour possible…

We have just completed our incredible tour of Bordeaux, and we want to thank Bordeaux with Elodie, as well as our personal advisor, Safia, for making our visit to the region both wonderful and memorable. From the very first contact, our thoughts and requests were taken into consideration with the utmost care, and over many months and numerous emails, the absolutely perfect plan, entirely tailored to us, became a reality. Our exceptional guides, Marina and Jeremy, made our three-day tour a complete delight. We visited small, intimate producers, as well as the most prestigious, ultra-elegant, and spectacular estates. We covered a lot of ground: Médoc, rue, Émilion, Graves. Simply phenomenal. Some highlights included Château Dufort-Vivens, Château Pavie, Château Troplong Mondot (with our favorite dining experience at Les Belles Perdrix!), Château Haut-Bailly, and the pinnacle... Château d'Yquem. We owe everything to Elodie's team for turning our dreams into reality and making this trip the trip of a lifetime. We couldn't have had this experience without them. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful wine experience from Bordeaux With Elodie. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised and tailored to our interests. Our personal guide Maud was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and she made the whole experience both fascinating and enjoyable. She clearly understood what we were interested in and adapted the day perfectly, giving us a great insight into the wines, vineyards and region without ever making it feel too formal or overwhelming. We particularly appreciated her taking photos for us so we could concentrate on tasting the fantastic wine! The service was excellent throughout, and Maud's enthusiasm and expertise really made the experience special. We learnt a huge amount and, most importantly, had a fantastic time. We would highly recommend Bordeaux With Elodie to anyone looking for a personalised and memorable Bordeaux wine experience.

We wanted to reach out now that we’ve completed our three tours with Margaux. I am not sure where to even start as it feels like I can’t do any justice to the level of service we received from your company. The ease of setting up the tours, the excellent communication along the way, and good information we received so we knew what to expect. The tours you selected for us were perfectly matched to our tastes and were a great mix of larger and smaller winemakers. The only feedback we had was with lunch the first day at Nathalie as it was just not enough for a lunch. It’s a great spot for a snack, but we were still hungry when we left. However, that small hiccup is no reflection at all on the overall experience - we loved everything. Now, to focus on Margaux. She is a gem. She made the entire thing so meaningful, so engaging, so informative - and did it all in a proficient, friendly manner. We cannot say enough about her - she has so much knowledge of the wines we were trying, she is steeped in the history of the region and there was not a question she couldn’t answer when we asked. We all knew we were with a true professional the moment the tours started. I’d love to fly her to whatever wine region we are visiting - she is so very special.
